My gut tells me it ain't possible but the number guessing game says it is.

Too many things you just don't really know.

One thing that will be impressive is a 36 foot going around you in the high 80's

A 36' Baja with 575's will run about 90, at least the one on the lake around my house will.

If we get another stab at this after the hp comes out, add 4 mph to my number. I thought it would be 750-800hp a side, but............sounds like some guys with some first hand "spirience" are guessing higher.....HeHeHe....

817 is a very big number out of a 502...the bottom ends are not stock or are they?
I would dyno both motors before install and dial in the fuel curve in the boat being on the edge like that.
My speed guess would be 84.8/GPS, That Baja will rock!

The contest was U didn't know sh*t (cam spec) and you had to guess

Now the cat is out of the bag on the hp it looks like we will have to wait till water day.

Back4More that is a big # for a 502 block. He (boat owner) wants to set it up with 4 to 5 #'s of boost and turn it about 53 to 5400. It is a stock bottom end. Leak downs were performed on the engines b-4 teardowns.

I never did hear what the boost was on the dyno.

Allen4 U may be very close on the 760 to 800 with the boost at 4 to 5 #'s

Mike.......one of my favorite things to do is spend an afternoon "banging in the bumps" on a brisk February day.....

Just give me about 600' of elevation, and nice bump run with about 40 turns and a little kicker at the end and I am good to beat myself senseless all....day.....long

I guess I have to stick with 84.5. Sounds fair...

You really know when you're in and when you're not, you should go back to the bunny slope The pain is less
