Nortwest - Lake Washington boating event May 24th.
OSO Group,
It's time again for the 2nd semi-annual Lake Washington Sun Run.
This is a semi-organized event, to ring in the summer boating season here in the Great Northwest. This will be for all interested boats to get together for a barbecue and boat ride.
When: May 24th Saturday at 2:00 PM
Where: Stan Sayers Pits on Lake Washington just east of Seattle.
What: This will be a barbecue/boat run around Mercer Island.
The format: This will be a pot-luck barbecue so please bring grilling choices or a dish of your liking.
I will arrange the site, provide a few gas grills, ice, & soft drinks.
For those who wish to consume alcohol beverages please keep them very low key this is a public park.
The Q’s will light off at 2:30 PM and at 4:00 the Sun-run around the Island will start.
There are approximately 12 boat slips and a large parking/boat launch area.
If you’re interested in attending please respond to this posting or email me at [email protected] with the count of attendees.

Got the new seats and had the seats, side panels, back seat and sun pad redone. Still have to finish the cabin (actually start). Let's see what else, install new guages, carpet cockpit, trying to build a ram air for the motor. Lots of little stuff, but also have the motorcycle projects and the large projects on the house. Hopefully I'll get a few things done.

Les, I will be there. Trying to finnish the painting below the rub rail,
should be done by this weekend. Then I can start making it
ready to float.
