After being sent two letters from my lawyer in two days it looks like I will be getting a NEW tahoe. They found the same one. it will be here wednesday. The only part i'm happy about is the free (two thousand miles) i put on there tahoe. The number two guy in the dealership is handleing it. He talks to my lawyer every day. We promised not to sue it he took care of it. I'm NOT a big fan of lawyer but in this case it helps to have friends who are. They are even taking care of the re-registration&taxes. No cost to us at all or the deal is off. All is well finally. Not bad results in just two days

Congrats Rick. Do you still have the old one or the rental?
I would take the old one out for a few Top Fuel Style burnouts before they take it back.
Not really a polite thing though. It is not like it has a salvage title or anything. It will be on the lot within the week as a demo, or claiming someones financing got yanked or somthing.

If the truck didn't have my own tires on it, i would be doing a hella burnout. I m sure they will fix it somehow and move it to another state. Bill heard is the worlds largest chevy dealer. If its not ready by thursday then I will be getting a suv replacement for our disneyland trip this coming weekend. The old one is in the driveway till next week

Glad you got it rectified, though Tahoe's in general have always had reliability issue's . . . a simple search thru Edmunds or similar will pull up lots of dissatisfied owners.
I was looking to get one . . . not any longer though.
