OT:NEW CHEVY Tahoe is in the shop again, again, again
Yep 3 times for the same problem of not shutting off. 2003 Tahoe 2000 miles 1 month old. This time they think they got it. yah right. they gave me yet another rental but this time my lawyer is involved. already contacted GM and awainting a responce. They don't want me to come and get it till they think its corrected . NO SH- - . to recap. they replaced the ign switch, replaced the ign relay and now said the ign switch is bad again. Yep thats three ign switch' with less than 2000 miles. The tahoe is a month old. getting tired of rentals. anybody have a good contact for General Motors?
Thanks for the Vent

Give Ralph Nader a call. I wish I could beat the buy a Ford thing because that's what I drive but to have the crap happen this new is just wrong. I think if it was mine I would be getting a new one.

i have worked at a dealership for many years and witness alot of frustrated people, both customers and technicians, while i feel for ya were all just humans. if the problem doesnt get corrected start with the zone rep but some how i think you have already been there good luck.

Picked it up yesterday and they said all is fixed. 2 hours later while turning the car off for a little dinner it kept on running for 10 sec or so.once again called onstar and they said bring it back in the the dealership. called dealership and they are awaiting the truck this morning. Boy I think I'm never going to buy new again.

That's a shame that you're having those problems. My Chevy truck is going on 130,000 miles, the last 50,000 with a Whipple and not a single problem. Folks ride in it and can't believe it's not brand new.
