Yeah....we switched over to the Powerstrokes in 2001. Man, those things pull a ton!! The BBC does pretty good, but the Powerstroke definitely pulls harder, plus it has the 6 speed manual. Not to mention 10 mpg as apposed to the BBC getting 6 mpg (while towing)

Being in the furniture business we see a lot of rigs. My bed frame guy pulls a 44 ft trailer loaded with bed frames and rails he said usually trailer and load between 18000-22000lbs.He just bought a chevy 3500 4dr said pulls ok but tough on breaks.the laz boy recliners i think weight about 175.each in boxes,so they take up a lot of cf.Kinda like sofas
