Nope, but the problem I see is how to vent the heated air out in a reasonable manner?...

Air is Great but it takes a beating mine is mounted in under the V-birth and needs repair about everyother year. The carry on units that fit over the deck hatch looks like a good alternative you can leave it at home when not in use, throw it on the floor of the cabin when traveling...my.02

I have a Cruise-Air unit that drops in a hatch. It will quietly give you frosted nuts . The sucker works like a champ!

I had a cruise-air unit, but I got sick of lugging it up and down the dock and I thought that it was difficult to levelize and set up.

I now have a Krusin Cool that is made out of a Samsonite suitcase with wheels on it. You just set it in the cabin, plug it in, and throw the hoses over the side and you are in business. 7000 btu's.

Do an internet search on "Krusin Cool".

Check out TOO COOL Air Conditioning by Hewitt Motorsports!
Bobby Hewitt originally designed this system for race boats.
But can build a system for almost anything. It runs on 12 volts!
Bobby has been around boating the a long time. He is in Arizona
and his phone number is (602) 463-1895. Tell him Brian from
American Racing gave you the number. If you get Vapor Trails
Boating News, there is a little information on the second to the
last page.

Thanks for the input. I don't want a permanent install, that's why was looking at these.......36 lbs., relatively small, vent exhaust through hatch, gunwale (from head), etc.

gonna look at all options b4 buying one.
