Brad, Not sure if you knew but Chris and Cyndi's place got hit pretty bad yesterday.
The detached garage is destroyed and their shed is leveled. Their house was moved about three inches off the foundation and has quite a bit of damage.
They both are okay as they were on their way home from Kansas City when it hit their place.
Puddles the cat is okay too, she rode out the storm inside the house.
I am so thankful they are all okay.

Damn that was close. Sounds serious. Things can be replaced, that is what we have insurance for.

Ouch!! Our thoughts go out to Chris & Cyndi. Glad that everyone was OK... even Puddles
I heard something like 80 tornado's were reported throughout the midwest yesterday. We were on the golf course in Overland Park when it came through in KCK, (about 10 miles away). Didn't even know what happened until I turned on the radio.

Hey FunHome, we're alive, just living in a small town.
Thanks for the concern! We were at the lake 100 miles east of here when it hit. I don't think any touched down around here, but in this country, a tornado would have to have pretty good aim to hit someone!!
Didn't get to take the boat (rebuilding brakes ), but yes, my baby is resting comfortably in her climate controlled shop (the boats fine too...ha ha ha just kidding dear)

Hmmm, 100 mile's east....That wouldn't be Wilson Lake would it?? I've done some cliff diving there in my younger wilder years!!

FunHome:
Dude I thought I was the only stupid one when I was younger!!! Oh yeah, I'm still stupid .
Been there, done that on the cliffs at Wilson! We were extremely cautious, however, and thoroughly scanned the area with our high tech Lowrance depth sounder .This was 20 years ago, mind you. I guess we thought it would map the bottom for us or something! Never did get big enough kahoonas to jump off the bridge, but we stood on it and looked down a few times!
Actually though, we were at Cedar Bluff Lake this last weekend. Ever been there? It's OK, but a little small. Just have to keep circling with the Cig this year!
