"Mind if I Smoke" all Cigarette run...
at LOTO the week of the fourth of July.
Several of us are thinking about doing an all Cigarette run sometime during the week of the fourth. Nothing big, nothing formal, just a get together with other Cig owners, particularly in honor of JBK's new purchase! He came up with the name, so it was the least we could do.
So far the suggestions have been to leave from Backwater Jacks around 10:30 for a run up to Big Dick's for lunch and a few beverages.
I know there are ton of cig's at LOTO, so if you think you can make it, or have any other ideas, post it here!

Grrrrrr......May have to put together an everything but Cig run at the same time
Just joking how did the labed props work? We saw you Monday flying by SHooters while we were eating lunch about 2:30.
Boat looks great, wanted to run to DIcks with you but Walley gave Nikki a stiff drink a pack of smokes and some eggs and toast and I couldn't get her out the door!!

You know, just because it is named a Cig run, it really should be "Cig's and friends".
I think the more the merrier!
VonBongo: I was wondering what happened to you...I really wanted to see the Pantera fly! That is one sweet boat dude, no matter what the name on the side. I love the lines of the Pantera, the are just razor sharp! I'm sure you would have had to slow down for me and my big heavy boat though.
Labs cut the rpm too far, sending them back to get hacked on again as we speak. Lost 2 mph, but the midrange was great!
The main reason for this "event" in my opinion would be to get together and have a chance to check out other boats up close and personal on the docks as well as meet the other owners. I will admit that our first trip to LOTO we spent a lot of time running up and down the lake for seat time as much as anything, so we missed getting together with a lot of people.
True, we won't have the super-cool matching head honcho type crew shirts like some other west coast type organizations ( ), but we can have a good time anyway!
So who else is in?
T-bone?
Wally's buddy with the 28?
Bullet owners?
Too Old?
There has to be at least 50-100 Cigarettes at LOTO on any given big weekend!

If you really want to do this let me know and I could probably round up at least twenty cigs.... Fourth of July can be so hectic though... maybe another weekend would be better..???

T-bone: yeah it is usually a hectic week, but it would be cool to see some other boats close up somewhere. It's been said on this forum before that it's difficult to get anyone together at LOTO, so it may not work.
Just throwing out a suggestion here. If there is interest, that's great. If not, no big deal either way.

It sounds like there will be several boats there.
In order to make it easier, if you don't want to meet up to run to Big Dick's for basically a boat show, just meet us there from 11:30 til probably 2:00 or so!
Anyone with any type or brand boat WELCOME!!!
VonBongo: ya gotta bring that Pantera! And leave the hatch up this time dude!

Troutly: Glad you can make it!! Looking forward to meeting more OSO people!!
If anyone is up for it, perhaps a run to Party Cove after Big dicks would be in order...how cool would it be to see 20 or 30 Cigarettes and "the infamous "Cigarette-type boats" pull in and raft up in the cove!!!
I'm sure most of us are pretty anal about who and what kind of boat we tie up to, so we could have our own section in the cove!!
