A Message from the APBA SORC Chairman: Please be advised that neither the SORC nor the SO Chairman have received nor granted any sanction for this event. Neither have the SORC nor the Chairman been consulted regarding this event. You are further advised that the SORC has not granted Michael Allweiss, Steve Miklos nor Offshore LLC any authority to act on behalf of the Stock Outboard Category nor the SORC. Please confirm, prior to your travel to this event, whether the SORC or the Chairman have granted a sanction in order to insure that you receive SO APBA points or awards. If you do not receive a Race Circular from APBA Headquarters in Eastpointe, MI, for the SO portion of this event, IT IS NOT APBA-Approved for SO racing. SORC by: Ed Hearn, Chairman.

Maybe we should take our Superlight Tunnel boat catagory.............. that APBA so generously slapped down to an exibition class ................and offer it to Mr Alwiess' LLC, I'm sure he would know what to do with the class........ What do you think Mr. Hearn??????????? ( for a bunch of guys from the great lakes 'dot org' is really messing things up big time................ VIVA LLC. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having had the pleasure of meeting a few of the stock outboard people recently, I think this would be a great opportunity for all of us, not only to see some cool equipment, but to meet other boatracers and share some of their racing fun. I know some of the stock outboard guys, (kneeldown dudes) have been somewhat caught up with their own political problems over the last few years and have been looking for some "out of the box" ideas. This may be a great show for them, as well as for us.

All the kneel downs (stock, pro & modified are truely fun to watch and the people that come with them are great.
At the Orange Cup Regatta two months ago, over 200 of the little & noisy guys showed up.
Next up, get the "Joisey Boys" to bring some of their Jersey Skiffs, then when the water is smoother..let's have the unlimited hydros face off with the Offshore PX class.
Hey!! Variety is the spice of life and would definitly increase the fan base..

Will they be racing in front of the Holiday Inn? Nice protected area, but can be a bit shallow. I raced my 13 footer there in 1987. It can be alot of of fun having the stocks there.
Augie in a kneel down??? You better get two, one for each knee.....
J/k with ya Augie...
