I would, but I already told dad I wouldn't install his either. I'm leery of getting any near fiberglass with any type of cutting tool.

No seriously if you need me I can probably help. I am coming down thursday night. So I will be around all day friday. The only thing I have to do is run around the lake to see if everything is working right on the boat if it shows up.

Why do you need your swim platform anyways. Like you gonna have time to stop and use it Saturday.

I figured Mama Tryed would like something nice to look at all day besides just the bare transom of my boat

How does the lake respond to this kind of rain? Will it be full of trash by the weekend? My drive and labbed prop don't like surprises.

mama tryed, I have been called worse.

The lake should not be trashy. I checked it last night it was about 3/4 of a foot above normal. This spring it was 8 ft above. So everything got deposited pretty high up or went though the damn. If it starts going up they will open up the damn and try to hold it down I'm sure.

Just stay in the channels and everything should be good to go.

Where are coming from in Indiana.

I live 30 miles south of Indy. I am just guessing on my time. I can get to Evansville in about 2.5 hours so mybe you can tell me how far it is from there.

About another two hours from Evansville, maybe a little more. I live and work in Mt. Vernon, IN which is west of E-ville about 13 miles. Depending on what route I go and how fast I want to push it. I can make in a little less than 2 hrs. From E-ville it is all interstate.

I was planning on coming down to the lake Saturday. Was not gonna enter the poker run, just check out all the boats in it and maybe go see some of the drag boat races...Oh yeah and drink some boat sodas I have not even had the boat in the water yet this year, all this rain sucks At this rate it looks like the river will never go down! What kind of boat will you be in?
