Right now, I am pretty much running a stock 454/330, except for emi stainless exhaust, carb, etc. Just bolt on parts right now. I have almost all of the new parts for the new motor which I am going to have done this fall/winter. I will be looking at 475-500hp when done with the new motor.
I start to get the bounce at about 60mph. It almost seems like the boat needs more power to keep the nose up and sit back on its pad. I have played with the trim, tabs, etc. and nothing seems to be able to make this boat run flat on calm water. If there is any sort of chop in the water, this boat is great, but on dead calm water this boat just bounces all over the place?

Thats what I do, I run it so the drive is flat with the hull, 5 on my Keikeffer (sp?) indicator. I also run with my tabs about zero'd out, cause this is where I run them when I race so alls I have to do is trim it up and nail it if a run into a race.
Steve- Where did you hear to put your tabs on an 11 degree angle?
