SkaterFest - Thanks
On behalf of Doug and myself, thanks to everyone who made this year's "Fest" another success. We especially wish to thank the following:
Rich and Darren Luhrs and Doreen Tietjen - our buddies
George & Ilse Linder for making the long journey - a third time
Patrick Patel and Kristen Scibetta - moral support etc. etc. etc.
Danny, Dale, Harry, Stretch and Josh - all the hard labor
Bud & Gail Tresch, Gary & Karen Bicker and Ray & Melanie Contreas - for use of your beautiful boats
Dave Patnaude and your entire entourage from NJPPC
Tim Sharkey for filling in the blanks where needed
Dennis Cavanaugh from Mercury Marine
Dick O'Dey for the informative seminar
John Woolley - for letting Professional Marine Racing overrun his marina for the weekend.
Thanks to all the folks that made the long trip - whether it was your first time or third time, you make putting this event together worthwhile.
Even though the weather didn't cooperate (again) on Saturday, a good time was had by all. Till next time safe and fun boating.

I had a great time, even though i could only stop by for a couple of hours in Saturday's monsoon. I did make the dinner and met a bunch of great people who I had known only by screen names till that night. Just as i had suspected, Sharkey grew up 2 blocks from me. Boot, thanks for the transport to that bar where they didnt have alcohol, but they did have something else...
Hope to find some more time next year, but I'll definately be there.....Thanks for putting this together all

boot,
Yeah, my long absent sence of responsibility kicked in and i worked on the big go-slo boat all day. It kills me to be paying for a slip with no boat in it. If youre gonna be on the water let me know, ill drop in the Donzi and we could meet up somewhere...
and like i said, Skaterfest is already on my list of things to do next year....
