Is there any cost to eneter? If so how much? Would you be able to provide a few details about where it begins, how far it goes, is on the river or the sound etc?? I may consider attending since it is on Sunday.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Shane,
This event is open to non-members and costs nothing to attend. It is a fun run up the CT river for several miles with a few stops on the way. Everyone will meet up at the mouth of the river and Long Island Sound ( NEW LONDON ). There is a free ramp ( at least it was last year ) and free parking at the ramp.
Hope you can join us!

Shane...you should figure approx 3.5 hours. 87 to 84 to 91 to 95 (you can find a shortcut from 84 to 91 via 671 in CT, not positive about the route number, but look on the map) The state ramp in Old Saybrook is very nice and at the mouth of the CT river.

Shane,
That is a pretty hefty ride but just to let you know the Conn. River is worth the trip if you have never been. Lots of great sights make this boating destination really nice. Hope to see you at the ramp at 10 am.

I was just looking at the weather and doesn't look good either day. Would you guys re-schedule if weather is lousy? I hear teh Ct river is beautiful and I have never been and would love to check it out. I don't want to drive so far and have it be lousy ya know?

Shane just to let you kow there are several ramps in Hartford Ct Also. To go from Hartford to Old Saybrook by car will take about 45 minutes but by boat its about 2 1/2 and its a nice trip. I used to run my Donzi up and down the river all the time. Good Luck.
