OkieTunnel - Sounds like Krumbsnatcher has you covered, Sandbar is defiantly the place. For diversity you could also head south and check out Copper Canyon (typically younger crowd) or Steamboat cove. Continue south and you get to the dam and The Springs. Couple of bars there. Night life at Havasu is basically Cocomo's at the bridge. If you like tourist stuff, theres a little tourist center in the village by the bridge. It has a lot of pictures showing the history etc of the lake/bridge. Also, don't give up on spending some time beached in the channel - south side of the bridge, close as you can to the bridge on the Arizona side - kewl parade of boats etc!
