Hi there Sean, great to see you this past weekend! I hope you had a great holiday. We made it out to Claudios the next day on Saturday. The bay was pretty snottty on the way there. It was worth it as always though!

BCC,
glad to see you got to do some boating...people sometimes underestimate the Peconic...but i'm sure the OL aired out nicely...
I had a good weekend, gos some work done on the boat and managed to have some fun in the meantime...see you soon.
no back to our regularly scheduled programming...

Dockrocker and Nort,
I guess we can agree to disagree, respectfully of course. Certainly the racers forum is an appropriate place as well. I guess it is a toss up. Sorry if you guys would rather it not be in the general discussion area, but I don't mind it, in fact I enjoy it, so I guess all I can ask is if you aren't interested or it gets on your nerves, just skip over the thread and don't read it. Pretty simple solution I guess. This way, those of us that like it can read it in the section we all visit most frequently and those that choose to avoid it can simply skip over it. I must say this however, it is like controversial radio and TV shows, although you may not agree, and at times even be disturbed by its content, you are still tuning in and reading it here, and that in and of itself says that the topic is warranted.

AOF is the American Outboard Federation which was formed when the old NOA (both alternative kneel-down associations) dissolved. Mr. Allweiss tried to have Mr. Staron (former and current President of the AOF) kicked out of the Seattle Crown Plaza in January of 2002 when the APBA was having its meeting there since Mr. Staron was representing a "competitor" even though Staron was an APBA member and a member of the Modified Outboard Racing Commission at the time (that's why he was there). I was more effective than Mr. Allweiss, though. I took Staron out for oysters and beer and he missed the last day of the meeting (too sick). 14-H.
