Anyone Ever Heard of...
Hi Everyone, Just have a few questions on a Boat I'm looking at, hope you guys can help.
Has anyone here have knowledge of any type of Ocean Express? I'm currently looking at a 28 foot Inboard/Outboard 2001 Ocean. It's in great condition, but has been sitting at the lot for over a year now, and Im worried there is something wrong with the boat. The lot says that the boat once had major power 1000HP+ but the previous owner took the engine and drive out. Right now it has just some basic power and a Bravo1 drive, but that's fine for a season as I would be investing in a Imco 4x4 and something larger then a hp502.
None of the members at my local club know much about the boat. The only luck I have had is with a guy who owns a 48 foot Ocean. He says he really likes the boat, however, he is trying to sell it, so who knows.
My main concern is the size of the tunnel, and at what speed you need to be going for the tunnel to be getting enough airflow.
I haven't been able to find much info on it on the web so I'm hoping some of you can give me some help.
Thanks
Jon

i know they aren't the fastest cats around but the aparenlty ride like cadilacs.
I believe theya re an old cougar design so they aren't as efficient as the newer cat designs like new skaters and so forth.
