Hard to go wrong with an older Cig or Formula, they're quality well built rides. I spent 10 months looking but found a GREAT condition 89' 311-SR1. I'm the 3rd owner and boat looks and runs new. No rattles. I also think that these two keep their value well. Just take your time and shop smart, check history, etc. Don't buy something for the sake of buying, buy smart. Take your time and you'll do well.

I'm not sure you'll be able to find one for 60K(only been making 'em for 9 yrs ), but the 34' Viper(Powerquest) will do 70 easily with stock 502 MPI's. It will also keep the wife happy..... 5'5" headroom and lots of room: here's a '95 advertised for $79,900, heck, offer 'em
60 K!!!!

FOUNTAIN!
So you are moving up? NICE! Let me know what you finally get.
You know I sold mine. I have been shopping for 2 months now. Here is some advice. It is an absolute buyers market out there right now. Don't be afraid...people WILL negotiate...A LOT.
Some advice: Make sure you ask for the computer diagnostics data. You would be surprised how far off those "estimated" hours really are. That computer can tell you valuable information. I would get that BEFORE you even think about price. Man, I almost made a big mistake. I made an offer to a broker $17,000 below asking price based on what else I was seeing ( not an intentional low-ball). The seller came back with $15,000 below his asking price so I asked for the computer diagnostics thinking we were close enough on price. After the download, those estimated 250 hours turned out to be 650. I guess this guy did not do his homework before he bought it.
Good luck! Keep me posted.

Look at the following:
Cigarette Bullet
Cigarette Cafe Racer [hard to find a decent one at 60k]
Powerplay 33 [older ones]
Sutphen
Fountain 33 or 35
Formula
Sonic 31
Scarab
Baja 32 Caliber [similar to the 33 Outlaw]
Narrow your search to two or three makes and find the best deal. It's a great time to be shopping.
