WOW THIS ONE IS SIMPLE....I LIVE IN OHIO...
TOTALLY ADDICTED TO BEING OUT ON THE WATER OR BEING ON THE BOAT AT MY FAVORTE ISLAND...
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
CHECK THE WEATHER REPORT SO I'VE GOT AN IDEA
GET IN THE BOAT ...
START IT......
PUT IT IN GEAR
HOPE THE WAVES ARE REASONABLE....
THE RAIN DROPS AREN'T HUGE
AND GO......................
IF THERE'S LIGHENING THEN I WAIT IT OUT ..NOT TO FOND OF LIGHTENING AT ALL....

We are in Michigan so we can have that weather every 15-20 minutes. I have crossed lake MI in April (100 mi) in a complete snowmobile suit with helmut and it was just like being inside.

When i am doing recreational beer drinkin boating, i like hot sunny weather, when i am poker running I like a nice cool day with alot of wind to chop up the water, i don't like it to hot when i can't swim.

Used to be a fair weather boater only. These days, I'll take anything I can get. Nonetheless, I hate lightning. I will avoid thunderstorms anytime.

Surprised to hear you say that. I figure folks in Florida with a 12 month boating season can be a bit more selective about when they go out. When it reaches October where I live, you have to settle for less than perfect weather cause you know the end is near. When folks like you in Florida have nasty weather in October you can just sit back and wait for nice weather in November – or December, etc.!!

Then to add insult to injury, it rains on Sundays and is nice all week.
You're right, though. The summer brings the warm moist tropical weather which means rain...September through March is awesome, though!
