A lot of folks, myself included prefer not to use FRAM. I would go to your Napa dealer and get Napa (Wix) Racing for the boat, and Napa (Wix) regular for the vehicles. Any/all Mobil1 filters would be my second choice. Also, Mobil1 is he only oil I use in anything.

The HP series filters have the highest burst strength and flow #'s in the industry, thats why they are so popular with all the high end motor builders. The filter
media is more than adequate, especially for boats where particulate matter is much less an issue regarding oil changes than water and fuel contamination. Use Mobil 1 oil period. The flow characteristics of straight weight oils cause excessive wear on cold starts, it's just not necessary with todays multi-vis synthetics.
BTW I can buy any filter I want for my business, but I spend the additional BIG dollars on Fram for my customers. It adds up when you use over 200,000 filters a year.
