Lodging on Lake St. Clair
Does anyone know of any place on Lake St. Clair that has lodging and docking on the water. I'm looking to help organize a Michigan Donzi event and cannot for the life of me find a suitable venue with docks and lodging on the lake. Anyone have any suggestions on somewhere people can stay from out of town and easily access the lake??? Thanks for your suggestions.

I wish
I have looked for this one myself, the 27 would be
like a coffin to sleep in.
I usually stay at the comfort inn in mt. clemens
and drop the boat at north river launch.
You have to pull it out though.
Short trip back to the water and breakfast on the way.
Possible transient dockage at belmar.
Good luck. John

There are a large number of transient wells @ Mac and Rays but no lodging.
In St Clair you have the marina and the St Clair INN across the road (walking distance).
IN Sarnia there is a hotel at Sarnia Bay Marina.
Both of these are on the river thow.

M,
That's what I'm saying. I can't believe that such a great boating area has zero hotels or marinas with lodging. It makes no sense to me. Oh well, I'm still looking. So far the St. Clair Inn looks like the best bet, but is far from optimal.
