Info on Del Rey Beach Florida
Doing some quick research for a boater friend considering a job relocation to Del Rey Beach, FL.
Since I've never been to Florida, I'm seeking some input on the following:
1. Boating. Are there any large freshwater boating venues? What's the saltwater boating like in this area?
2. Community: What's Del Rey like?
3. Housing: Any freshwater waterfront housing? What's a 3,000+ sq ft new home running down there?
Nice stuff?
General comments appreciated.
Thanks.

The downtown area is kind of nice and they are doing alot of construction there now. so the area is growing. I don;t much much else abtou it. I was down there a few days ago looking at some investment properties. Like i said it is a growing area. It also only 30 minutes north of lauderdale and there is plenty of stuff to do in luaderdale. 30 minutes north of delray is palm beach. Very nice in PB but not much going on. Lots of old people and LOTS of $$$.
