OT: Polaris Four Wheelers?
Does anyone know anything about Polaris? Do they make a good four wheeler? I am thinking about buying one. They are American made. Here is the one I want.

I have a prairie 650 Kawasaki and love it!!! Polaris are pretty great too from what I have seen but a few friends have bought lemons...One could'nt make the 4wd work for anything and another had elecrical issues. I think for this year the prairie is a 700 but I know that Kawasaki won the four wheeler of the year award for the past few years

If you want a racing one get a Cannondale, after that my choice would be a KXF 400 or KXF 700. The 700 does over 90 mph bone stock right out of the box according to my dealer...

I used to own a Polaris Dealership, but it's been a few years. If interested, contact my brother Pat at (920) 788-0220 he sells Polaris, Kawasaki and Suzuki. He should be able to compare them for you.

bikinilover, buy my 03 Suzuki Z-400 I cant get rid of this thing to save my ass, it goes an honest 72mph Gps, bone stock. I havent heard much out of the Predators there is however a forum like OSO strictly for Predator owners, I think it is www.pred500central.com or predator-central. com or something like that you can probably find a link to it on its sister site www.z400central.com.
BTW, NEVER! belive a dealer when he tells you the top speed of a quad
I had one dealer tell me that stock Raptors would do 95mph

I avoid the Polaris ATV's because they are very unreliable. I ride with about 25 guys and of them 4 have Polaris's. Of all us riders, the ones that break down are Polaris.
The new predator is their first ever manual shift ATV. Looks to be a good runner but since it is a first year production and the fact that it is a first time for them, I would wait a few years before buying one.
You can also check out www.atving.com

I was also looking at the Predator's. I have a couple banshee's now, and was thinking of trying out a 'thumper'. I checked one out at the dealer, and it looks to be built nice.
You should also check out the New yamaha 450's. I looked at that too.
Only problem with the KXF 700 mentioned above is that it's an automatic. I couldn't imagine driving an auto hi-performace machine.
The Cannondale's are great, but $$$
