Thanks everyone !!!!
Sorry it's taken so long for me to respond, but I just got on line today and was 10 pages behind.
I gotta tell you all, Ernesto certainly earned that flag for us. I simply laid it to the wood and left it all up to him. He did an outstanding job of driving against some very talented teams with more experience and horsepower, and won us a National Championship title.
Thanks Ernie !!!
Also, thanks to everyone that came to the GM Vortec/Extreme Powerboats skunkworks facility, (Sanford & Son Racing), and worked into the night Thursday night to get us ready. Mike, Ernesto, Steve, Craig and Especially to Gary, who actually passed up a date to help us get everything in place. I felt bad that he made such a sacrifice, but we would have never made it without him. Now that's dedication. Thanks Gary!
In fact, we wouldn't be racing this season if it wasn't for Steve Miklos and Gary Decuices. The old Corsa is a sweet boat. Thanks for giving us the chance to make her a Champion again!
I also want to thank everyone at Revolution Marine for your help and support. Plain and simple, your stuff works, and works good.
Of course we want to thank GM Vortec for the little motor than could. The HP3 8100 is simply a screaming motor that never quits, (even when I screw up and really zing it). The support we've gotten from the GM Vortec people is incredible. They've given us everything from fabulous food to technical support, to a National Championship. Thanks to all of you for being there for us each and every race.
And last but not least, Thanks to Bob Bull. You gave us a last minute chance to race, and we took it and ran with it.
We owe ya big.
Thanks.
Y'all are the best!
