My 32 is registered as a 1932 Ford. "Kit Car" is a dirty word to real hot rodders and I don't do "plastic" (fiberglass) cars!
Where did you find the trucks you're looking for? There are hundreds of classic chevy trucks and F1 / F100 Fords for sale in CA. Some good spots to look are the Trader Pubs and Recycler:
http://www.traderonline.com/
http://recycler.com/
And if you can travel here and bring cash you can get some killer deals at the Pomona Hot Rod swap meet, especially this time of year.
http://www.pomonaswapmeet.com/
Long Beach swap is another good one.
http://toppingevents.com/
Plus, it is always good to see what you are getting before having something shipped overseas. If you'd like me to check something out for you let me know.

ha-ha-ha
its not a f100 but f250;
complete ly same car,chassis is a bit longer on this one but np,i will cut.
current situation is it is used asa ordinary pickup with wood back.
you will not believe your eyes when i finish this one.
all measures are same with f100. front fenders 144
front hood 117 etc..
