Good News! The following order was signed by the Judge today.

ORDER
Petitioners have requested an order of this Court approving the revised by-laws of the American Power Boat Association (“APBA”) and directing that the APBA’s interim Board of Directors conduct, as soon as practicable, an election for the Board of Directors. The Special Master appointed by the Court, Kenneth Manning, Esq., has reviewed the proposed by-laws. The interim Board of Directors has reviewed and considered these by-laws, and approved them by a vote on October 30, 2003. The Special Master also has noted that an election for the directors of the APBA should be held at the earliest practical time.
The Court has given due consideration to the proposed by-laws, to the recommendations of the Special Master, and to the record in this matter, and it appearing that this Court’s prompt approval of these by-laws will be in the best interests of the APBA and its membership it is hereby
ORDERED, that the proposed by-laws of the APBA and are approved; and it is further
ORDERED, that the interim Board of Directors is directed to conduct an election for the Board of Directors of the APBA, in conformity with these by-laws and New York law; and it is further
ORDERED, that the interim Board of Directors shall promulgate these by-laws to the membership of the APBA, by at a minimum announcing that new by-laws have been approved and making copies of these by-laws available to members of the APBA by request.

2. Did APBA Detroit sign a new contract with the LLC.....OR...with another group called ORL? If so would the bankruptcy of LLC terminate the agreement?

As to the second question, the answer is no, but the LLC is not declaring bankruptcy.

And a new company....has the contract with APBA Detroit.
This is one of those things that on the surface makes no sense......
But heaven help the guy who questions it....
so I won't.....
