Egypt is definitely too far (and dusty), but yes - it would be nice to be around areas where there are plenty of waterfont "establishments". That has been one of the best things I have learned about the Chesapeake. Too bad it's not located 400 miles further south. Like I said, maybe SC or GA as well.....

Robbie - Thanks, I knew there must be some go-fasts around there somewhere. I grew up in Greensboro and used to visit a friend's beach house in Shallote (sp?), so I remember how much I liked NC. Even though I enjoy my Formula for it's speed, we also take week-long trips and use it very much like a cruiser, too.

Looks like I might plan a "look-around" trip this winter, followed by a boating exploration trip next summer.

Bob - I didn't realize that you were still boating.

Insptech - What's your budget?: $$$$$$$$$$$$?

Stan - Some days I'm A LOT older than others......

c spray , small world ant it . i bet youve been down the white oak river. nice isit , well you could cruise up to the bay , and stay a week and south to fla on the icw and enjoy your self . we are i'm gessing about half way in betwen them any way good luck .

Hmmm. Maybe the Chesapeake is the right way to go.
