Fort Myers Bch. Race ???

According to the local paper, the town (Ft. Meyers Beach) denied the funding request for the race. The race comittee was asking for $20,000. The town fathers were not impressed with the race last year and questioned why there were so few race boats. Ulimately they denied the funding.

Yes Sir...
it certainly does suck. But Im confident they will work it out in time. I believe JC will have a better showing of boats next year.

tune in tomorrow for another episode as the ( days of offshore churn) This coming year, WILL Hopefully will be a Positive year. BURRRRRR!! Come on Spring. And Race ,HELL with Bulls&#t. 2004 going to be a good year.

Deb and I went down in Outlaw last year to watch the race. Checked the website at ten p.m. the night before to double check starting times. Got down there and they'd combined the two races into one, started them early, and we missed the whole thing. Pissed me off.
