I agree with cigarettefirefox. Just havent found that great machine shop yet.

I think different builders have different strengths and philosophy's and you should pick one based on your boat and the way you boat. It doesn't hurt to like and trust the individual also. Buy the motor from which ever builder you decide but make sure it's his (or her's)best motor. Everyone has a motor they build the most of and that's their most reliable motor. NK

I agree with Nauti Kitty...I shoped around cause $38-50K each was out of the question for those big name motors.
Talked to Jason Saris at Performance Marine up in NY...using all top shelf parts, he built me some 850HP blowermotors for $25K each.
