No one is able to communicate in the cockpit idling out of the marina without headsets or hand signals!

Boat sticks to bunks and you pull in your truck into the water just trying to back it off the trailer.

You get the finger from sailboaters.
When you fire up and old people walking by do the it smells sign waving their hands in front of their nose and making faces... then they get into a diesel cruiser and fire a ball of black smoke. dickheads.

Funny story - we had this woman come running down the dock and screaming at me, my wife and my two children this summer at the marina we go to every weekend for lunch. I guess it was the first time our paths had crossed in all these years. They left about 20 minutes later in their 40 year old diesel cruiser, but not before the guy parked beside them started yelling at AT THEM about harassing us and the dock master came down and told them that we come every weekend and are always courteous and polite and to knock it off. Then the nicest well dressed woman in her 60’s that I was sure would hate us pulled my kids aside on the way off the dock and told them “that’s just one woman’s opinion and she thought it was wonderful and they should enjoy their boat”. The whole thing was a ridiculous scene, and I hadn’t given it much thought until about a month ago when that couple applied to be members of our Yacht Club. Oh the irony.

the whole thing made me think of that old bar in Miami I have seen on here that didn’t allow sailboaters because they didn’t spend money - these guys know we will at least show up and spend a few dollars. I’m sure that couple has never even set foot in the restaurant because they can bring rice cakes to their boat and buy 2 liters of diet rite.

The best part of that whole story is that you are out on the water as a family! If more families would spend more time together this world would be allot less f'ed up! Kudos to you!

SEEFORDS, what were they yelling about .. noise?

I was docked in the only place you can dock for $40/hr in $hitcago , libtards hang out on the stairs and drinkin their wine from the winery close to the water . There was a couple there with a small dog , I pre warned them that they should hang onto their dog it`s going to be a loud start , they dismissed me like whatever guy.
I said okayyyyyy. started up the boat and their dog freaked the hell out, knocked over all their wine glasses and tried to take off snapping the chicks arm pretty hard.
I F***ng told you !
liberals ...they think they`re just smarter than everyone.
