I always thought the flag ought to look like it was waving while moving hence the blue and stars in front. I realize that it does make the boat look shorter or stumpier as mentioned before. But when I had mine done I didn't want the blue to come back too far. I love the way it turned out and sure does get a lot of attention here at LOTO.
