i dont doubt it at all, just seemed funny as I have been under both units and they look absolutely totally different

I believe it is actually built off the Tahoe platform. The real hummer is, and always will be the H-1. Not saying the H-2 is a bad vehicle, but it should not bare the same name as the original in my opinion.

I think you're correct. The H-2 was built for all of the yuppies out there that want the designer rugged looks of the H-1, but everyday luxury and drive-ability of a regular SUV. Two totally different animals.

It doesn't the Orginal is called H1
The Newest version is called H2

H2 is the same platform as the Tahoe but it's fully boxed and has 2500 A arms and coils and stuff.
