Jan Hammer did the original music for Miami Vice. There were a lot of contributing musicians on a per-episode basis, e.g., Glenn Frey, Phil Collins, The Gypsy Kings...

I saw a movie of the week on TV in the late 80's or early 90's that had similar story line as the dealings with Mr. Aronow and Mr. Kramer.
They had the storyline based on the "Blue Thunder" contract being revoked due to drug convictions of the new owner of the company, and the return of the company to Mr. Aronow him giving back the contract price for the sale of the company without giving the cash he had received under the table.
I can't recall if they used the real name but I doubt it. It was a little cheesy and was only a TV movie.
I tried to find the name of it on imdb.com but was not successful yet.

We talked about that on a thread within the last couple of weeks. It was a TV movie called, I believe 'Thunderboat Row'. It was pretty cheesy. I have one of the few copies around and am trying to get someone to copy it because some OSO guys want a copy.

Robert Geoghegan.. no no , What i have from the motion picture that never was, is the sound effects of Arronows Cigarette engines running on take off, drive byes, idling by, more take offs etc, then at the end where the cock of the gun is heard, frogs in the back-round , sounds of the night birds, and then a ton of flying bullets hit him, his Mercedes, then starting of the boat and the killer taking off in Arronows Cigarette and going past him again with engines roaring still shooting at him. Very very earry.

Can't get Miami Vice on DVD and no Aronow film, but yet you can get a stupid show that barely made it through a season on DVD? I thought I read in Powerboat a year or so ago that they were looking for people that had Aronow and other Don creations to use in the movie, my buddy had a 24 Aronow cat at the time and we were gonna use it? oh well!
OC Barry, if you are gonna make copies of that movie let me know, I'll buy one from ya! One of the only boat movies I can remember, even though it was a little far fetched.
