I think you build great boat's, way better than what they cost, I hope one day you have a contender in that size range.

BT, Was that a cheap shot? I don't need to upgrade, I just head for the rougher water and you'll fade like a pair of old jeans!!

A.T. was my first choice when considering a new 28, I contacted them about a 28 w/ a 500 EFI and was blown away by the price I was quoted,,, IMO there are a lot better bargains on 28 footers out there with just as good a reputation and build quality..

Price depends on equipment, and the AT is a lot bigger looking 28 than the others when you set it side-by-side. Don't forget that a small fortune of your quoted price was going to Mercury for your choice in power. How dramatic a difference in price was there with the others you looked at?
IMHO, the Active Thunders have always been a pretty good value for a true custom made boat. I bought mine used, but the new prices didn't seem out of line at all to me in comparison to the others.

For a 28' I think a Pantera is the best boat for the money...I wanted a 37' AVH and was quoted $325k

I haggled and haggled and found out that it was just a problem salesman that is no longer with the company. I would be in one right now if it was'nt for his outrageous price...Which was full retail Nevermind the excuse I was given on why I should pay full retail

I know several people that would never own anything but an AT
