Default boat rentals in Keys

I am going to be in the Floridia Keys in mid May and would like to rent a boat for a day or two. Does anyone have any suggestions about who to contact. Doesnt have to be a 35'er but not a skiff either. Just something nice in the 20' plus range.

If your going to Key West I suggest Motor sports just behind the Hyatt his name is John he rents Scarabs, fountains, Jetskis and does chartered or bare-boat rentals.www.hydro-thunder.com Good luck, Mark B.

If your in Key Largo and want to go out to the reef or wherever, rent a nice sized center console from Pennekamp state park. Normally the boats there are pretty beat but I think they just got all new ones.

What does it cost to rent a boat, all I would be interested in is one of those beat up center console jobs it doesn't have to be pretty,as long as it doesn't croak on me.

I go down to Marathon for Memorial Day most years and you can get a 21'-23' center console for around $1100 a week from Captain Hook's on Vaca Cut. The one I rented last year was only a couple months old and came with GPS/Fishfinder, cooler, VHF, etc.

Checked out the ones at hydro thunder and they are a bit high. $600 a day for a 23' Donzi.
