"OFO" could be "Old Farts Only", and might not be too far off the mark.
Be glad you didn't use "ONO". Someone might have thought that you were calling us nitwits. (Ducking now...)

I don't want to go too much bigger than 24 because then I'd need a big truck to pull the boat and I'd have to double my budget. My wife has informed me that she is going to get a Land Rover Discovery which tows something like 5000 pounds or so. My alternative was for her to buy a 4x4 F250 with a diesel engine, but that didn't go over well.

Welcome to the board !
You better edit that post .... It's OSO not OFO ! Lightning my strike soon !
Bigger is better on the bay . The chop is a killer . 24 foot at least . 24 degree dead rise . 454 magnum (365 hp ) minimum to get the speed . NO "ALFA" drives !!! Bravo at least . the Formual is a great boat , the sea ray 22 is nice but a sit down boat and shallow bottom will beat you up a bit . There are lots of great 24' boats out there .Its a great starter boat . Big enough ,but not going to kill you on gas . And only one engine to fix ...... I actualy like the baja outlaw 24' . its a good boat for the money and lots of them around . Almost any name brand 24' off shore style would do OK. I lot of personal preference
Good luck ,Joe

My '91 Warlock seems to be a pretty solid boat. 454 c.i motor, 24-degree deadrise, Bravo One drive, etc. The construction of the boat seems pretty solid. 23-1/2 ft long with a narrow 7-ft beam.
I haven't seen a lot of them around, but if you find one, I'd say it's worth looking at.
