why even make both, Just make a 496 HO anything less go with a smaller CID motor. which would be what ? a scorpion?

When I bought my 496MAG it was about $4K more than the 6.2L and $4K less than the HO (never priced the Scorpion). Figured I would use that $4K I saved later to change the cam and look at other mods and possibly get a better bang for the buck. Check out http://www.raylarengine.com/ for some possible upgrades.

I didn't want an engine that wasn't running at its optimal configuration, I got the HO. I don't think I'd have been happy knowing that there were a few more horses to be had for a few extra dollars. You get over the dollars quick, but knowing there's more to be had for the lifetime of your boat isn't worth it...go for the HO.

It's about $1800 actually...best money you will spend in this sport. Get the HO...50ponies and no doubt 2-3mph in whatever hull it's in. You would be very shortsighted not to.

Problem is it's a 2002 left over boat, as is, out the door. seems like a good deal just it has a 496 plain not HO


Maybe i can just whipple the Byach
