Mine won't take the boat out by herself, but she does back the trailer both for launch and pick-up. She can back better than most.

My wife's afraid to even start the engines, let alone try to dock the boat. She just loves being in the boat, but in the port side bolster.
But I have got to give her much credit on NEVER complaining about goin TOO fast, or even in the ROUGH water. I guess things could be worst, right?

My wife took our boat out all the time. She'd call me at the office to see if I had the keys with me, then tell me her and the girls were headed out.

I don't have any problems with my girlfriend taking the boat out, She drove it before I did. I was a bit leary at first, but after she got used to the extra 8ft., second engine and two of everything, She does a great job.
