Lake X is called Lake Conlin on maps, and is located about 20 mi south east of downtown Orlando FL.
I'd buy something there if it ever got developed, I would like to see it open to the public, be cool to have the history of Mercury displayed there.

What a great place. I actually looked forward to getting my rear end chewed on by "Schwebbie" on arrival. However after the initial welcoming ceremony, what a cool place to go about the business at hand. RIP Don Schwebbs.

We were there for many weeks in 1999. I took a 73 mph F1 boat to the lake and when it was said & done , it went 81.6 mph. It went so fast it through me out - haha - BH
