Hey - when you're as ugly as I am, the last thing you want is to attract attention. Speed is all you got going for you.

I think you can spend a little under $60K and get a better paint job than him.

This guy came up on me last year in Rhode Island
waters.

I had to bring my boat to roughly 80 to pull on him .

My wife got this shot when he was saying Wow "that things a beast"

If I am not mistaken I belave he said he had 496ho,s

Oh, well . . . Without the arrogant a$$es of the world, I wouldn't have the pleasure of shaking my head at them and realizing how great my life is.

4 adults 1/2 load of fuel 73-75 MPH GPS depending on the conditions. My 33 however does have a raised X dimension. Even with 4 adults and a full 180 gallon fuel tank I will still see 72-74 mph GPS. Note this is fresh water speeds, salt water may be slightly higher.

At our local poker run last July an HO 33 was in my class. I can't tell you what speed he did hit, but I can tell you what speed he didn't

I run HO box-stock 28p @ 5000, he was running 26p.

Its not all about top speed.

Great feedback everyone! Bottom line is that he didn't hit that 80MPH mark and better yet is that he's probably not even close (relatively speaking). My 80.3 verified GPS is faster....although his boat is still much bigger and rides much better

Thanks for all of your feedback...I can't believe this thread went to 3 pages in just a few days.
