Congrats on a really sweet ride. My father is a Vette aficionado currently with a 2000 C5. The C5 is a amazing and look out when the C6 hits the streets.

outer42, I had to read your post 3 times to figure out you were talking about your temp TAG on the back, and not he temp SECRETARY at the office (being in the back of the car; WHOAH!).

By the time you got out it sounds like a pretty expensive headlight to me

Drove a six speed a few weeks ago VERY nice. Good luck

What have you done to your Duramax to get that power? What trans mods? We "bomb" quite a few and I always like hearing what other mods people are doing. Sam BTW, nice car.

SWEET CAR! Remember, it is much easier to beg foregiveness than it is to ask permission.

I pull my HTM SR 24 with a 02 2500HD quad cab 4X4 Duramax/Allison with a few slight modifications

1.Custom chip from Predator 160hp,300ft/lbs of torque
2.Another chip from Duramaximizer stacked on the Predator with a adjustable fuel pressure switch in the cab.Can go from stock fuel pressure(7000psi) to (25000psi) so much for fuel economy in this mode.Add another80 hp,125ft/lbs of torque and a thick black puff of smoke
3.Stock tranny dint last more than 2 weeks so i had to break out the old wallet again ,and ordered a complete transmission and torque converter from ATSDIESEL.COM (CHECK OUT THE WEB SITE)COOL STUFF THERE
4.Next is a 4 inch stainless steel exhaust , to give it a little rumble let me tell you it makes alot of noise now.
5.Last but not least a 22 gal PROPANE tank hidden nicely in my diamond plate tool box, pumping another125 hp,250ft/lbs into the formula.

With all my slight mods it gives us a grand total of
705 HP,1179 FT/LBS OF TORQUE.
And i am getting ready to order my new(much larger) injectors that will give me another 90 hp guaranteed from dealer ,not sure about torque yet.

year to date ass kickins on the street total a handful of jap junk with the coffee can exhaust and 3 (5.0) mustangs by 4-5 car lenghts.Iwill send some pics whenever it stops raining and i can get it all shined up for some pics
