You guys need to use the clip that goes on your pants or belt. While in motion, we put ours in the glove box - you can still hear it ringing if you're moving. We started being a little more diligent about that after JB lost his phone out of his pocket while we tied up the boat. Kinda funny....some guys feel lost without their phones. Almost an identity crisis in the making.
I can list on one hand the number of people with my cell number. I don't want to be that reachable. Of course that's just not plausable with some people because of work, JB included.

Bonnie, I own my own company and if I loose or break my cell phone the next stop is the phone store. I have left the phone home a couple of times and have stopped at the store to get a el cheapo to make it through the day!!! It sucks how attached I am to the damn thing. In fact Maine were my land is is the ONLY place that I go so far that it does not work. Damn thing even works in Tortola now Anyhow the things SUCK but they are a neccassary evil.

Audio...that's exactly the scenario I'm talking about. I actually feel bad for you (or people like you) because frankly, you never get a minute off or a moment's peace.
