WOW, I am re-impressed!
farfrumwerken,
Is your trailer a Rocket? The one under my Sonic is, and it was a POS when I bought it. I am glad I had the expertise and ingenuity of CheckmateF1 close at hand, and together we rebuilt the entire trailer. Unbeliveable how much better it retrieves the boat, and tows the load.

Syd/Todd - Thanks for the info on the McCLain trailer. I appreciate it.
Syd - Had a Loadmaster under my old 35 Sonic that I was pretty happy with. Not top of the line, but worked for me. When I bought the new boat it had a Rocket trailer...that's been swapped out for a Real Extreme trailer. Looks to be about the same lousy quality. I don't trailer too much (C-Bay and back a couple of times a year plus haul out for winter storage) so I'm not too worried for now. Just looking at options to upgrade to something better.
Todd - How'd the McClain hold up for you? Would you get another one?

I can see your checklist of cabin goodies
Wine, champaign, mushy CD full of songs, embroidered towels words "Pimp Daddy" on them, Handy wipes, condoms, KY jelly, dial hand soap and clorox cleanup.
did I miss anything?
how I wish I was 11 years younger and had 11 foot more boat

Top, can't forget the Motion Lotion and the Fith of Everclear in case of emergency.

Brian, call Wayne Redmond at West Coast Trailers. Tell him you got his name from me in Havasu. He shuttles trailers all over the country and is a cheap bastard (Exactly what you want). I am sure he has already done the homework on the cheepest transporters.

The McClain has held up very well. I would consider them again.
