I don't like tke noise laws myself but...you can go faster quietly .. Why , you ask? Because you attract less attention to yourself
Now instead of some old fart seeing a BIG , NOISEY , offshore boat that should be "offshore" , you can buzz by his house on the ( fill in the blank)______ river and he won't even look up.

I took my mufflers off and put tips that lower the sound by closing the flap im hoping this will work.
Hey Dave use this picture in your class and say this is a muffler.
See you saturday at the poker run.

I've always thought that introducing water into the exhaust stream muffles the noise quite a bit. I doubt any Marine Police will buy this line of reasoning tho. Unless he's ever heard how much louder dry pipes are......

It's like anything else in life... just know your limitations..ie. where and when to open it up. you know the yacht club next to the mantoloking bridge as usual will be complaining especially if everyone is running full speed right up to and out of the edge of the no wake zone, this is not a new drill, just lay low when near rich people's mansions, sail boat clubs and when leaving bars like patio bar in Pt. Pleasant.... head out into the ocean or in the bay south of mantoloking..no one in Seaside Hts. will be *****ing!

No one to blame but boat owners themselves. I see it all the time. Why do you need to rev up 1,000 + HP with open exhaust right at the dock side. Gee I wonder why we piss people off.
I see it all the time. They have switchable exhaust but never use it when approaching the docks. They always, ALWAYS have to rev it up 1 last time before shut down. I wonder why
I've sat at many dock side places only to hear people saying " was all that necessary?" and you know most times it really wasn't.

Anybody want NJ shore waterfront less than 1 mile to the beach AND a easy coomute to NYC?
