NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark
SOUNDS LIKE NAUTIKITTY WENT OVER THE CENTURY MARK TODAY ! Congradulations Kitty, like I said, I put my engines up "FOR SALE" so I can get bigger ones so I can out run your ass. Just kidding, hopefully taking the SeaRay to the Marathon races next weekend. Again, congrats. Hey, we got Scott's **** done today, almost 900hp, better get BIGGER drives.

Re: NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark
Thanks Robert. I'm still high as a kite after that ride. Finally it feels all worth it. I saw wicked won's engines today. They look suspiciously bigger, I don't know why? Sorry leopajm I am no longer the slowest 41 saber ever built. Have fun in marathon and talk to ya soon. NK

WOW !!!! Congrats Parn, what a great feeling when all the effort pays off !
My stuff didn't change except trying to make them more "user friendly" with oil thermostats, bypass fuel regulators and other non fun stuff
Can't wait to see your's run ( and hoping I can hold ya off ) there is NOTHING as pretty as watching these things run at speed in a chop
And for all you guys with step bottom bravo boats thinking , big deal... come spend an afternoon ( not 5 minutes) running with us in some real offshore conditions and you'll understand what these boats are all about.
BTW what are you turning them ?

We were running next to Parn right up until he took off like a raped ape! Nothing like a beautiful non-step, old-school V with the nose high and proud and a big badass #6 rooster tail!!!
Congrats again Parn, you broke the ceiling and raised the bar!
Like Fred said, this is going to cost me a bunch more money!!!

Re: NautiKitty Hits the Century Mark
Thanks guys.
JD 5800 rpm's. So far I have found, with help from a lot of people, 16 mph since I went out initially. It's amazing to me what little things can do. Although I won't keep up with the wicked won, I never really put the boat on a diet. I'm still adding glass to the front. No deck flexing in my future though. I feel like the setup is perfect now and when I'm done with my little cabin project I'm going to sit back for the rest of the summer and kill some fossils. NK
Come on windstorms, bring em on.

[QUOTE=Too Old]Time to talk to my engine builder. There may still be time to look for a few more ponies. That's going to be damn hard to keep up with.
BTW The acceleration on my boat is excellent but nothing will ever compare to the sutphen. Hardest pulling boat I have ever ridden in. Hang on Fred. NK
