Reckless...I know just how you feel!!! We actually had to rent a storage bin to store all of our products in for our detailing biz. The drag was, most of them didn't work to our expectations, which is how they ended up in "storage". Couldn't throw them away, 'cause we paid good money for them, but knew we'd never use them. Finally....tossed 'em and made our own! Can't say it didn't hurt, watching all that money go into the dumpster!

Exactly...
Kim has the course details been decided yet? I think the reluctance thus far has come from not knowing details of the run and of the evening itinarary/s.

Yes, the course has been set. I'll post a map for GPS on our site withing the next couple of days. Basically, starts at Ocean Marine with stops including Rudy's, Blue Water Marine, Smithfield Station, and Salt Ponds.
Party Friday night, Captain's meeting Sat. morning (the usual). After party at Ocean Marine in Portsmouth. Hooters girls, race boats and high performance boats from as far as California, Poker Runs America photos and helicopter coverage, etc.
We really need to get a head count asap and hotels are running low. There are a lot of conferences and concerts in the area at that time and once our reserved rooms are gone (or by next Tuesday), they are pretty much all booked.
Like I told Bill, if the HRPA guys (or any other powerboat clubs) are going to participate, we are offering a $300 registration for 5 or more.
All of the proceeds of this poker run go to the Samaritan House/Safe Harbor, which offers shelter, support, and counseling for women and children who are victims of domestic violence.
Feel free to call me with any other questions you might have. I will try to update the site tomorrow.

Sounds good Kim. I sent the PRA flyer I got in the mail yesterday via email to everyone in the club with a plug. Another way to spike registrations would be to provide PR flyers/registrations and Frenzy trinkets/coupons for the LC Regatta ditty-bags. Also possibly offering a free/50% discount for the run or from Frenzy as a prize to one of our best-looking boat/most festive crew/farthest distance awards we'll be handing out at the post-party.
Course-wise I was hoping for something along the aggressive side. I wanna see Bill's 575SC's hammer all day...
Bill...signed up yet?

Reckless, we always donate to your Regatta and we will do so again this year. Thanks for forwarding the flyers; I was wondering if they had been mailed and you answered that for me.
Anything we can do to help out with the Regatta; just let us know. We plan to be there anyway.
