Long Beach and SCOPE Guys ?

I am doing some research on a project for next year. Can any of you guys tell me how the cell service is between Long Beach and Catalina Island on the water. I know its good by helicopter I was just in one for the Catalina Ski Race. I just need to know how it is on the water

I have Verizon and I think that there is coverage the entire way between Long Beach and the Island. Next time I am out I'll try to look and see if there are any dead spots in between..

In California, it seems that Verizon has the best coverage, I've had Verizon for over 10years and I have to say the coverage is the best.
Going to Catalina is no different then driving to Riverside
