Missing boater in Hardy Pond?
I heard a rumor that someone got tossed out of their boat on Hardy Pond over the fourth. Does anyone have more info? Hope it's just a rumor.

The COPS are going to wait for the body to surface.
I ran a search pattern for about an hour but found nothing.
It was an older high freeboard family style CHECKMATE about 18 ft. with a MERC 225 OB.
It didn't roll because the windshield wasn't damaged but the engine was torn off of the part that clamps to the back of the boat.
I heard from others that had run next to him that the guy was a poor driver and the boat was very squirlly at speed.
He had just droped off his wife and two friends before the boat tossed him.
BTW - JIM V.
The new engines run great. I still have to do some adjusting but WOW what a difference.
They still have that bark that I like but they IDLE in gear at 600 RPM instead of 800.
I saw 77 GPS ( the same speed as last year under ideal conditions and everything out of the boat.) But this time I had a boat full of junk and 1/2 tank of gas.
OH and 30+ LBS of anchor in the nose anchor locker.
Do you know anyone that has a set of Labbed Bravo 28's that I can try out for an hour or two.
I need to get the R's up.
I think that I am just below the power curveat 5200 and labbed 28's should do the trick.
