Re: Apache Heritage
It was great to see that boat kick INXS in the Worlds in 92 & 93,Apache the true offshore ruff water champion in those days, before they started to chop up all of the V bottoms for top end not rough water,in the rough Apache ruled the seas.

Re: Apache Heritage
I always thought that Apache Heritage was a cut down 47. The overall length of it is now 45' due to the reduced freeboard, but didn't it start life as a 47'? On the other hand, ours was built as a 45' in a blocked off 47' mold and still has the original freeboard height. Is this right or wrong? To be honest, I truly don't know for sure, but I am hoping that Mark can fill us in since he built them both. I'm not trying to stir the pot here, but I have heard so many stories about the two boats that I am just curious to know how they both arrived at 45'. Not like it makes a difference, but I would love to know because a lot of people have asked me and I have never been able to tell them how they were made for sure. Mark, please fill me in.

Re: Apache Heritage
Mr. McManus,
Can you fill all of us in more on the length?
Was it's maden voyage as a 47' and later cut down.
Or was it popped as a 47' and cut down right away
to a 45' etc.
More history would be great.
Thank you
