You guys don't get a NE wind often, was that what made the waves or when it went to the NW? We had a great Sunday until about 7, then it got awsome with 3-4s out of the NW. It was amazing in 2 hours it went from NE to NW, 1ft and calm to 4ft and chop. Those waves have a long travel from the NW and when they get here they are big right NOW!!! I am still learning how to throttle these suckers, I have the tabs and drive down (and down ) but I keep losing momentum when I pull back and miss the re-entry at too low RPMs for a smooth transition, It was easy on the dirt bike but the boat is more techical and I am affraid to break a gimbal or a drive. I have a buddy with no fear, I won't let him drive although he could teach me....maybe when he gets another boat. I see him look at me every time I "case" a wave. I need a girlfriend who doesn't know better. And no, he is not my girlfriend, just a good friend.

NE winds and 4 footers are normal for cleveland!!!! people were talkin 6s with the occasional 8 footer( that was after a couple of beers at shooters)
