Well, here in the land of Bajas and Checkmates, everybody looks at me like I have three heads when I politely inform them my "Cigarette boat" is a Progression....

I love the looks and calm lake performance of the Tuff 28 however as anyone seen one of these boats operate in two foot seas or better?

Mark built these to run - call him @ Tuff Boats. The build quality and attention to detail is unreal

I think I'd prefer the 29 with twin O/B over the 27. The 24LD and 27 are sit downs, the 24XL and the 29 have the option for stand up bolsters. The 29's sunpad is longer, and rough water handling is supposed to be better at the cost of some top speed. I'm VERY happy with my 24 High Deck/XL, but I still find myself browsing for a used 29.

I concur the build quality is second to known and I've spoken with him at length. My question was really to hear first hand accounts from owners and possibly some video of these boats being run in ruff conditions. I just haven't seen or heard of owners speaking on there ruff water prowes......

I like the 16' and 18' Donzi. Some of best boating memories were from living in Avalon and in Stone Harbor during the summers in the late 80's while in college. Bartending at night, and taking the 18' Donzi out for rides to Brigintine/AC (out in the ocean from Avalon). On a nice day, that was just great.
Yeah, you get wet every so often due to the smallness of the boat, but so what, that is cool. 18' Donzi, I loved that boat. Hot 20 something girls out on the boat, waitresses/barmaids out with me in the boat, some Budweiser, and portable radio --- Glory days!

I looked at one years ago and after owning a 18 and 22 donzi was very unimpressed with the sea ray
